Terms of Service

These Terms are the agreement between you and aiAdaptiv for using Second Brain Pro (the "Service"). By creating an account or paying, you agree to them.
1. The Service
Second Brain Pro is a hosted Markdown vault you can connect to AI apps (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Cursor, and similar) via MCP. We store and search your notes. We do not run AI models on your notes and we do not send them to AI providers — your AI app does that under your account with them.
You can export your vault as a ZIP anytime. We may change features; if something you paid for is removed in a material way, you can cancel for a pro‑rata refund of unused prepaid time.
2. Account
Keep your login and connection URL secret. Anyone with the URL can read and edit your vault. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 16. One personal plan = one person — no reselling seats.
3. Your content
You own your notes. We only host, back up, and index them to run the Service for you. We do not train AI on your content and we do not sell it. Do not store illegal content, other people's secrets, PHI/HIPAA data, or use the Service for high‑risk / regulated decisions. Backups are for disaster recovery — export regularly; we are not your only copy.
4. Billing & refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe as merchant of record (taxes and receipts). Pricing is on the site (US$1 7‑day trial, then US$29.99/month). During the trial you may start the monthly plan early from your dashboard; this only happens when you explicitly confirm and you are charged then. 14‑day refund from purchase — see /refunds. Cancel anytime in the dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period unless refunded.
Invite trials: If you receive a personal invite, you get a 7-day free trial with no payment details required. At the end of the trial, if you have not added a payment method, your account pauses — nothing is charged automatically. Your notes stay safe and exportable. To continue on the Pro plan, add a payment method in your dashboard and explicitly confirm; only then are you charged US$29.99/month. The same 14-day refund applies from your first charge.
5. Availability & liability
We aim for high uptime but do not promise 100%. The Service is provided as is. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the last 3 months. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
6. Termination
You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate for abuse, non‑payment, or legal risk. After cancellation or deletion, vault data is removed from live systems within about 30 days (backups age out after that).
7. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes get notice by email or in‑app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update. Governing law: Poland. Courts: Łódź, unless consumer law says otherwise.
